The flu and cold season has kept many people inside this winter but not these intrepid Olympians! The 2018 Winter Library Olympics featured events in Listening Skills, Bobsleigh, Hockey, Table Curling, and gold-medal crafts. Mrs. Miller read Max and Marla by Alexandra Boiger and Tacky and The Winter Games by Helen Lester while the Olympians munched on their “torches” (plain ice cream cones filled with Cheetos). Everyone earned a gold medal for their exemplary Listening Skills, which was awarded in a ceremony. Afterward, everyone joined in the events and had a marvelous time!
