For the second month in a row, we’ve had a Family Search Night at Rockwall County Library. We had fifteen participants learn about familysearch.org, a powerful tool for discovering and organizing family records.

If you’re curious about your family tree, come on out to the next one. As Clarence Jorif stated at last night’s workshop, it really is like “going on a treasure hunt”.
Using Familysearch.org, for instance, I discovered the name of the ship my third Grandfather sailed on–The Criten–when he immigrated from Europe.
What treaures will you discover?
The next Familysearch night will be September 20, 6-8 PM at Rockwall County Library.
