The library hosted a teen Valentine's cookie decorating workshop on Saturday, February 10, featuring professional "Baker, Caker, and Cookie Art Maker" Shannon Orr of 1211 Bakery and the Kitchen Witch Chronicles. O Pioneers!
This past weekend, Girl Scout Troop 7412 celebrated pioneers, prairie adventures, and the life of Laura Ingalls Wilder (Little House on the Prairie) with stories, skits, and hands-on activities. They did a marvelous job, as did their special volunteer storytellers -- RISD librarians!
